One of the questions I’ve been asked most lately is: “Why Buda for your second location?”
And honestly, there wasn’t one big reason. It wasn’t part of some master plan—but as soon as the opportunity presented itself, it just felt right.
When I started thinking about expanding Vixen Esthetics, I knew I wanted to grow either within Austin or into one of the surrounding areas. I’ve always imagined building a business that could grow with me—and that meant finding a location that felt not just right for work, but also for life.
Buda immediately stood out as a place that felt safe, community-focused, and familiar in the best way. It reminds me a lot of my hometown—somewhere I’d love to raise a family one day.
A few years ago, my realtor and I started talking about the idea of opening a second location. She’s been sending me potential spots ever since. But it wasn’t until last November, when she sent me a property survey for Buda, that everything clicked. I found the location—the one that stopped me in my tracks.
It’s not the same style as our Austin storefront, but that’s actually what I love about it. This space gives us a new way to grow—what I like to call a “safe risk” (if that’s even a thing in business!). It’s affordable, brand new, and has plenty of room to build out exactly what we need to continue offering the best in brows, skin, and esthetics.
We’ve already had several of our clients follow us to the new location for the convenience—and they’ve been loving the space just as much as we do.
I’m so excited to continue growing in Buda and to be a part of such a welcoming and supportive community. This next chapter feels like the right move, and I can’t wait to see what it brings.
