When I opened my business in 2020, I never could have imagined where it would be today. This past August marked our 5-year anniversary, and looking back on the journey has been both humbling and inspiring.
I moved to Austin in 2020 and, without knowing a single person in the city, immediately decided to open a business (what was I thinking, right?). I started small—renting a 10×10 room from Coraly at SpaLaLa in West Lake Hills. That little space was home base as I worked 5–7 days a week, seeing clients from morning until night. I quickly realized the pace wasn’t sustainable, and that’s when the idea of expanding and building a team started to take root.
In November 2021, I signed the lease for our Oak Hill location, and by February 2022, we officially opened our first storefront. That’s when the real growth began. I hired my very first employee, Kaitlyn, who’s been with me almost since day one, and that summer, Lexx joined the team. They are my OGs and a huge part of why we’ve come this far.
The following year, Rayann and our former permanent makeup artist Sophia joined us, helping shape the business into what it is today. In 2024, my realtor sent me a listing for a space in Buda—and I knew it was the next step. By May 2025, just three years after Oak Hill opened, we officially launched our second location in Buda. Around that same time, our team grew even more with the addition of Emily, Sam, and Perla. To say 2025 has been a busy year would be an understatement!
This journey has been anything but easy, but it’s also been the most fulfilling experience of my life. We’ve been able to transform so many lives—helping people heal their skin, guiding clients through their acne journeys, and giving the gift of brows to those who’ve struggled with insecurities or hair loss due to health conditions. These moments are what make all the hard work worth it.
Most importantly, I want to thank every single one of you who has supported me and this dream over the past five years. Your trust and loyalty have allowed us to grow, serve, and continue doing what we love most—helping people feel confident in their own skin.
