Brow Lamination Aftercare

1) Keep brows dry – Avoid water, steam, and excessive sweating.
  • When you are washing your face use a washcloth and try not to get brows wet when washing face in the sink or in the shower.
2) Avoid Excessive Heat
  • This includes saunas, hot yoga, heated workout classes, and laying outside. This can cause breakage.
3) Do not touch or rub brows – This prevents disturbing the shape and direction.
4) Try to sleep on Back - this will allow for the brow hairs to not get crazy and/or bent
5) Avoid makeup and skincare – Especially around the brow area to reduce the risk of irritation.
6) No brow products – Don’t use gels, pencils, or tints until after 48 hours.

First 24 Hours:

Ongoing Care:

1) Brush brows daily – Use a clean spoolie to keep hairs in place.
  • This is especially important in the morning, think about brushing your brows like brushing your hair
2) Apply nourishing oil or balm – Castor oil or a brow serum can help maintain softness and prevent dryness.
  • We suggest using the provided oil 2-3x a week to keep brows healthy but make sure the brows don’t become too weighed down by the oils
3) No harsh treatments – Avoid waxing or tinting for at least one week post-lamination. We also suggest people to avoid any harsh skincare treatments near the brows after lamination

*Disclaimer*

It is important to space out brow laminations with enough time between treatments - the brows will also go through a grow out phase and need to be styled with brow gel at around the 2-3 week mark.
Please keep in mind it’s normal to have some brow shedding when you are brushing your brows, it’s normal for brow hairs to grow and fall out, however when we are brushing the brows more frequently, we’re going to notice this more than when we’re not brushing the brows. This is not due to the lamination - just our natural hair growth cycles.
